A bunch of Animals!

Last weekend we had a little whirlwind trip up north. On Friday we drove up to Springville to go to Josh's friend Ethan's wedding reception. It was held at this great house up Hobble Creek Canyon and it was great for Josh to see his old roommates and friends. These guys all lived together their first year of college.
Josh, Josh B., Ethan, Rob and Brody.

We stayed with Tiff that night and she was so nice to watch our kids while we went to the reception. Justin was out of state taking pictures so we missed him but the kids had a great time playing together. Josh was a trooper because he slept on the bottom bunk bed with the kids on the floor while I slept with Tiff. I couldn't resist the thought of the king size bed.
On Saturday we went to the Hogle Zoo. I think I had higher expectations for how the kids would react to the animals then what really happened. They were excited to see all the animals but were pretty worried about who got to hold the map, what animals they were going to see next and who got to sit in the stroller. Once we saw the Monkeys they were getting into it more. We did have a great day and I am glad that I made Josh go. It was fun to have Tiff there and the kids had fun having friends to go with.

This is how they started off the day
This is how we felt about it

I had to have a picture here because the last time we took the kids to the Zoo Connor was 6 months old. I love that Kenny is sticking her fingers up behind the gorilla head.
Isn't it a requirement to have one of these pictures when you go to the Zoo?
The favorite part of the whole trip, riding the train. I just wish it would have lasted longer cause it was a much needed rest from the walking!

Saying goodbye to her "boyfriend" Mason.
